The Amazonia Collection is Vista Alegre's collaboration with Ecoarts Amazonia, an environmental non-profit based in Brazil. The collection features techniques such as sculpting and hand-painting, that brings together the work of Vista Alegre’s sister brands Casa Alegre and Bordallo Pinheiro. The designs are inspired by the book “Viagens Philosophicas” (Philosophical Voyages) by the naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as by the fauna, flora and people of the Amazon rainforest. The 70-plus tabletop line features porcelain, earthenware, stoneware, glass and crystal pieces. Award winning collection with a European Product Design Award - Silver Prize Winner.
